The 40-hour Texas Practicum is a pre-licensing requirement for applicants following the Substitute Experience and Education Requirements for a Real Estate or Professional Real Estate Inspector. This course is available to students who have completed their TREC required course modules (110-hour National and 44-hour Texas modules).
The Texas Practicum will include two 4-hour classroom sessions, 8 on-site inspections with a SITA trainer, and 5 reports prepared by you that are considered satisfactory for release to an average consumer.

As part of the Federal Clean Air Act, EPA 608 Certification is required for any technician who maintains, services, repairs, or disposes of appliances that contain regulated refrigerants.
SITA is approved by the EPA to test and certify workers for their EPA 608 credentials. We help your new technicians get their EPA 608 Universal certification using engaging video courses and online testing with live remote proctoring from ProctorU.
Courses include Core, Type I (Small Appliances), Type II (High-pressure and Very High-Pressure Appliances), and Type III (Low-Pressure Appliances).
Workers can also access practice tests simulating the EPA 608 exam to help detect knowledge gaps and build confidence for the real exam.
