Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in Virginia

To secure your home inspector license in Virginia, you must complete the following steps:
  1. Applicant must be 18 years or older.
  2.  
  3. Applicant must complete at least 70 hours of approved home inspector qualifying education.
  4.  
  5. Applicant must possess General Liability insurance of no less than $250,000.
  6.  
  7. Applicant must submit their application and pay the initial $80 application fee.
