The objective of this course is to teach inspectors the routines of operating and inspecting residential Heating systems. Participants will learn best practices of observing the heating equipment in normal modes of operation. The inspectors will learn the common types of systems they will encounter, and the uncommon system types they could encounter. They will also gain competence in identifying common deficiencies and conditions for recommending further evaluation. Upon completion the inspectors should be equipped with the knowledge on how to perform a thorough and high-level inspection of Heating systems for Texas.
