Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in Washington

To become a licensed home inspector in Connecticut, you must complete the following steps:
  1. Applicant must complete 120 hours of board-approved classroom instruction.
  2.  
  3. Applicant must provide proof of mentorship with an experienced home inspector for 40 hours of field training and 5 actual inspections.
  4.  
  5. Applicant must successfully complete and pass the written National and State exam.
  6.  
  7. Applicant must pay the required $720 application fee when submitting their application.
