Gates

Two common gate types allow access into a pool and spa area. Pedestrian gates are usually single gates. Double gates are usually intended to allow vehicle or pedestrian entry. A single gate should be self-closing and self-latching. A double gate should be self-latching, but self-closing is not required. Both types of gates should swing away from the pool. Gates should, at least, conform to the specifications in the illustration.
