Repair – An inspector is required by most standards of practice to recommend repairs when components are system are not functioning properly. In obvious instances, it is not necessary to suggest further evaluation, rather to simply advised repairs by a licensed plumber.
Repair Cost – Recommending further evaluation may be necessary by a licensed plumber to determine the approximate cost of needed repairs.
Limited Access – If conditions exist that restrict the inspector’s ability to access or traverse a significant portion of the main laterals. Also, if there is visual and performance evidence during the home inspection that suggests there may be a deficiency on a particular branch line that is not observable on the sewer camera inspection of the main lateral lines.
