You must renew your home inspector registration by June 30th each year. The Secretary of State sends renewal notices in mid-May. 

Additional information for becoming a Home Inspector in North Dakota

The requirements to get a home inspector license in North Dakota are as follows:
    – Be at least eighteen years of age.
    – Submit proof of satisfactory completion of an examination on home inspection offered by the following:
  • American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI).
  • InterNACHI.
  • Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors (EBPHI).
  • International Code Council (ICC).
    – Complete a Home Inspector Registration Application (SFN 54381).
    – Submit proof of current errors and omissions insurance coverage.
    – Pay the $200 registration fee.
    – Pay the required annual renewal fee of $50 by June 30th of each year to renew your registration.
